JOB PURPOSE :
Translation Studies is a new and thriving area in the School of Languages, Literatures and Performing Arts. The School currently offers an MA in Irish Translation, as well as a more broadly interdisciplinary MA in Translation. There are plans to introduce an MA in Interpreting, and to extend translation theory and practice within the undergraduate curriculum. The successful candidate will undertake research in line with the School's research strategy, to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and to contribute to School administration/outreach activity.
